Who are we?

Welcome to Valaurah Farms, your trusted small, in-home breeder located in North Eastern Kentucky. We pride ourselves on producing health-tested, family-tempered Standard Poodles who excel in various roles, from Service Dogs to Hunting Companions, Family Pets, Therapy Dogs, Sporting Dogs, and Show Prospects.

Our commitment to "The Total Dog" philosophy means we not only compete in conformation but also engage our poodles in a range of sports like Precision Coursing, Nosework, Lure Coursing, Upland Hunting, Shed Hunting, and Weight Pull. We believe a well-rounded dog is a happy dog, and our diverse activities ensure our poodles are just that.

Although based in Kentucky, our puppies find loving homes across the country and even in Canada. With our dedicated Flight Nanny Services, we can easily offer “puppies near me” to families far and wide. Our puppies are family-raised using a blend of Puppy Culture and BAB Curriculums, and are available by application only. Each puppy receives personalized care and never leaves us before 8 weeks.
